The accommodation at Moores Hill Estate Winery emerges as a natural extension of the site’s evolving masterplan. A response to both the growing demand for immersive wine tourism and the limited accommodation offerings within the Tamar Valley. As part of the desire to reimagine and enrich the cellar door experience, the project seeks to deepen the connection between visitors and the landscape by encouraging longer stays and more personal encounters with the estate.

As part of the strategic planning for the site, an opportunity was identified to extend the visitor journey beyond tasting and into restful, reflective engagement with the site. The introduction of standalone cabins—in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom configurations caters to a variety of guest needs while maintaining a sense of privacy and seclusion.

This accommodation offering enhances the estate’s identity as not only a destination for wine but a place to pause, stay, and engage more deeply with the land and winemaking process within Tasmania’s Tamar Valley.
