The new Music, Drama, and Performing Arts Centre will create a vibrant cultural heart for the school, establishing an inspiring space that nurtures creativity, collaboration, and performance.

The building is organized around a central gathering space that connects to the performance hub – an acoustically optimized auditorium that serves as a flexible venue for concerts, theatrical productions, and school assemblies. Surrounding the large gathering space are rehearsal studios, music practice rooms, ensemble spaces, drama classrooms, and a black-box theatre, all acoustically isolated and designed to support a wide range of pedagogical and creative activities.

Natural light, circulation flow, and acoustic performance were primary drivers in shaping the layout. Carefully placed skylights and internal breakout spaces provide soft, diffuse daylight, fostering a sense of openness while maintaining the control needed for performance environments. Social spaces and informal breakout zones encourage interaction and spontaneous creativity, supporting the centre’s role not just as a teaching facility but as a community catalyst.
